MyPortraitBooth

Privacy

This page explains how MyPortraitBooth uses, stores, and deletes guest photos and finished portraits.

Event participation

Portrait photography is part of the event. Guests choose whether to take part. If someone does not want a photo used, we stop and delete the copies we control.

Data processing

To create the portrait, we send the guest photo, chosen portrait idea, and related instructions to our image-generation provider. Processing may occur outside Canada and is governed by the provider's terms, including its own retention practices.

Minors

For events with children or teens, we follow the participation rules set by the host, venue, school, or organization.

Event production use

Images are used to create, review, print, and deliver portraits for the event. If a guest asks for a digital copy, we may collect recipient email addresses for that delivery. We do not need guests to download an app to participate.

Marketing use

We only use guest portraits in public marketing, social media, or portfolio examples with separate permission. Asking for a digital copy does not sign a guest up for promotional email.

Storage and retention

Guest photos travel through private event storage to the event Mac. Working copies may also exist in the event browser, downloaded print files, or delivery exports. We delete the copies we control within 30 days after the event or completion of an agreed delivery, whichever is later. Files covered by separate marketing permission are handled separately.

Deletion requests

Hosts or guests can ask us to delete copies under our control by emailing myportraitbooth@outlook.com with the event date and pickup number, if available. This does not delete copies already sent to the host or guest, or copies held by the image-generation provider.

Request limits

We may decline or adapt requests that are offensive, unsafe, invasive, or ask for an exact celebrity, character, logo, or protected image.

Questions can be sent to myportraitbooth@outlook.com.
