Before tax
Each approved additional hour is CAD $600 before tax. We base the recommended time on your guest count and party schedule.
Is MyPortraitBooth suitable for teens and older relatives?+−
Yes. The collection includes sports, music, fantasy, art, travel, family, and classic portrait ideas. Guests can search independently or ask us for help.
Do guests need to choose a portrait before the event?+−
No. They can browse the guest page in advance if they want, or choose at the celebration using the QR menu, screen at the booth, or our help.
Can friends, cousins, and the whole family take group portraits?+−
Yes. Friends, cousins, siblings, parents, and grandparents can share one portrait. We print a full-size 6×8 copy for everyone in the photo.
How does phone browsing work?+−
Guests scan the event QR, browse or search, then show us the number they chose. The page opens in a phone browser. A screen at the booth and personal help are available too.
How many hours should we book?+−
It depends on your guest count and party schedule. We recommend how many hours to book after reviewing your plans.
Who runs MyPortraitBooth during the event?+−
Both founders run the booth throughout the event. We help guests choose and pose, check each portrait, and print their copies once everyone in the photo approves.
Will guests understand what to do?+−
Yes. The flow is simple: choose a numbered idea, take the photo, approve the portrait, and collect the print. Guests can browse on their phones or the screen at the booth, and either founder can help them choose.
What does the venue need to provide?+−
We bring the tables and equipment. Please have a suitable space near a power outlet available and let us know where to set up when we arrive. We use our own cellular internet.
What is included in the $2,500 starting package?+−
The starting price is CAD $2,500 before tax and covers three event hours with both founders running the booth. Guests choose from 3,000+ portrait ideas, with our help whenever they want it. We handle photography, create and check each portrait, and show it to the group for approval before printing a 6×8 copy for everyone in the photo. Protective sleeves, setup and breakdown, travel within our standard Montreal service area, event branding, and requested private digital copies are all included. Each approved additional hour is CAD $600 before tax.
